There isn't much debate about climate change in the skiing industry, they know its happening and they are already suffering some of the consequences. Few other industries stand to be more affected by global warming than the skiing industry. Aspen Skiing Company (aka Aspen/Snowmass) has been a leader in the ski resort world in adopting many programs and policies that respect the environment. But they've taken a very practical approach by sharing their mistakes along with their victories as they journey down the steep green slope and the rest of the industry, as well as other industries, have benefited greatly from that approach. Perhaps most impressive is their latest initiative, Save Snow, that educates their patrons on environmental issues and opportunities.
